Workshops tackle the future of digital built environment
02/12/2020
The Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB), as part of the Construction Innovation Hub, is working on a new collaborative project – Graduate Digital Capabilities for Built Environment Professionals – to identify and address the digital skills gap for recent graduates across the full range of built environment disciplines.
Starting this month, the centre will bring together a range of early career graduates (with around two years’ professional experience) and graduate managers to participate in a series of online workshops, organised and facilitated by Design Council. These workshops will identify the types of digital work that are being undertaken and the skills that recent entrants to the sector therefore need to thrive in the digital age.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and graduate managers working at the leading edge of digital approaches to play a role in shaping future ways of working and to learn more about how others are using digital across the built environment.
The session of most interest to architects focusses on spatial design and will be on Tuesday 8 December. You can find out more about the overall programme here and sign up via EventBrite here.
