RSUA members are invited to a ‘wellness and water’ event from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday 23 May 2024 in Splash NI in Moneymore, near Magherafelt.
The evening will include a cold-water dip and the use of a privately booked sauna. After braving the Mid-Ulster waters there will be an opportunity to warm up and recharge with some burgers and soft drinks. With insight from some regular cold water swimmers about the benefits of cold-water immersion, participants can go about channelling their inner ‘Wim Hof’.
This event is open to all RSUA members at any level of swimming experience and costs £22 per person. No special equipment is required, other than swimwear and warm layers for afterwards. There are changing facilities on-site.
