Tee Time
Over the next six weeks there is an opportunity to play a few excellent golf courses with RSUA. You can stoke up some local rivalry with the other construction professions at Malone or take on Royal Birkdale now that you’ve been shown how to do it by the pros at The Open – Maybe even both considering the great deals that the RSUA Golfing Society have arranged.
The only requirement to participate is that you have a GUI handicap. Here are the details.
Inter-Professional at Malone on 21st August
Date: Monday 21st August 2017
Tee time: 2pm
Where: Malone Golf Club
Match: Architects take on the civil engineers, quantity surveyors and the building services engineers. It will be normal four ball format on a stableford basis with full handicap allowance. The best four scores count for each team.
Cost: £45 covering green fee, dinner afterwards in the clubhouse and prizes.
Architects Inter-Regional at Royal Birkdale on 10th & 11th September
Date: Sunday 10th September 2017
Where: Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club
Excellent links course designed by James Braid which has hosted two Ryder Cups.

Fantastic golf course which hosted the 146th British Open Championship just two months ago

Match: 18 holes of stableford competition against architects from the different parts of Britain and Ireland
Accommodation: Sunday 10th and Monday 11th September – Bed and Breakfast at the Vincent Hotel, a 4 star contemporary boutique hotel located on Lord Street, in the heart of Southport.
Cost: £250 covering golf, meals, awards and accommodation. Flights not included.
