
At Architecture Night 2025, the best students from Northern Ireland’s two architectural schools displayed their projects and the winners of the RSUA President’s Bronze and Silver Medals were revealed.


This section of the evening started with the announcement of the Best in School awards for undergraduate students from Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University, followed by the overall winner of the RSUA Bronze Medal.
The Best in School awards for postgraduate students from Ulster University and Queen’s University Belfast were then announced followed by the overall winner of the RSUA Silver Medal.
The judges were Sarah Brady, Architect at Samuel Stevenson & Sons and John Lavery, RSUA President.
On the night, the Best in School awards were presented by John Lavery. The Bronze Medal was announced by Nicola McKay, Studio Director at HLM Architects, whose practice contributed to the prize money for Best Undergraduate. The sponsor of the Silver Medal, James Grieve of James Grieve Architects, revealed the winning Postgraduate student.
