RSUA welcomes new architects to the fold

18/03/2022

The Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA) has welcomed newly-qualified architects to the profession with a special event held in Belfast.

The New Architects Party is a chance celebrate those who recently qualified as architects. In the 2021/22 we are delighted to welcome nineteen new candidates to the profession.

This event is not just for those who qualified in Northern Ireland, but also for those who passed their part 3 exams outside of the region but are now living and working here.

Guests enjoyed a tour of the almost complete Students Centre at Queen’s University – “One Elmwood”. RSUA is very grateful to Alan Shields and Gareth Andrews of RPP Architects and Orla Carew from Queen’s University for leading the tour.

Guests were then welcome to the RSUA office in Mount Charles for dinner and drinks and a chance to celebrate and chat. Thanks to RSUA Honorary Secretary Kari Simpson of Todd Architects and James Grieve from Consarc Design Group and the RSUA’s Early Career Architects Forum (ECAF) for coming along and sharing their experience.
