
The RSUA is hosting a full-day Sustainability Conference on 31 May 2023, from 8 am to 5 pm at the Ulster University Belfast Campus. The event, titled ‘Routes to Net Zero Carbon’ will feature 18 expert speakers discussing a diverse range of sustainability topics. The conference aims to address the urgent need for action to ensure Northern Ireland’s built environment aligns with the targets set in the Climate Change Act (NI) 2022. Attendees will hear from architects, engineers, and environmental experts who will offer insights into various routes to achieve net-zero targets. Topics covered will include policy context, reducing embodied carbon and emissions, retrofitting, energy infrastructure, and using natural materials, among others. Pricing ranges from £104 to £139, depending on membership status.
