RSUA was invited to join Fold Housing Association today in celebrating its 40th year as the social enterprise announced its plans to invest £40m during 2016.
Speaking at the event Ciarán Fox, Director of RSUA, highlighted the impact of good design on housing, the benefits and challenges of urban density and the leading role of social housing in driving improved energy efficiency.
John McLean, chief executive of Fold, said “The achievements of Fold have been possible through the dedication, hard work and innovation of staff and board members, past and present, working in tandem with business partners to provide the very best in housing, care and support.”
RSUA will seek to strengthen the relationship with Fold and the other leading housing associations to put design quality further up the agenda for social housing over the coming year.
