Once again, for the European Heritage Open Day (EHOD) this September RSUA is planning to offer architect-led tours of heritage buildings to the public across Northern Ireland. It’s an excellent opportunity to celebrate the central role of the architect in conservation projects and to enhance public interest and understanding of the importance of our existing buildings.
The EHOD festival takes place on the weekend of Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026.
Would you be available and willing to offer a public tour of a building that you have worked on or studied?
Is there a conservation area that you are particularly interested in and have knowledge of?
If so, please get in touch.
For RSUA to register the tour with EHOD we’ll need a short blurb about the project/building/area, a time of day that you could provide the tour and confirmation that any necessary permissions are in place.
RSUA will then register your tour with EHOD, manage all bookings and promote the tour.
You can find out about some of the tours we arranged for the festival last year on the RSUA website.
Please let us know if you would be willing to offer a building tour as part of EHOD by emailing Jude Faloon on jude@rsua.org.uk or by phoning 0748 334 6329 by no later than 1 May 2026.
