RSUA members raise money for ABS Mental Health Services

This year RSUA supported the Architects Benevolent Society’s (ABS) Bake the World a Better Place initiative to help raise funds for ABS services by committing to match funds raised by RSUA members and practices up to a maximum of £1,500.

ABS chose 17 May 2023 for this event as, not only was it World Baking Day, but it also fell within Mental Health Awareness Week – with mental health support being a major part of the work of ABS. To find out more about what ABS does, visit https://www.absnet.org.uk/get-help/

RSUA received donations from two practices and the RSUA staff team also participated:

• Whittaker and Watt Architects raised £100
• Doherty Architects raised £60
• RSUA staff raised £20

The total funds raised was £180. RSUA agreed to match contributions raised, making the total RSUA donation to ABS £360. Thank you to everyone who participated in ‘Bake the World a Better Place’!
