RIBA Election Hustings – Meet the future President of RIBA
This Thursday we are hosting an informal evening drinks reception for members to discuss and debate the future of the profession. At the last minute we have been able to get all three RIBA presidential candidates to be in Belfast at the same time. This is your chance to not only hear from the three candidates to allow you to make an informed choice when you are voting, but also to let those candidates know what you want to see RIBA doing for architecture and architects in the coming years.
The RIBA presidential candidates are Andrew Salter, Ben Derbyshire and Alan Jones. As two of the three candidates are flying in just to attend the hustings we are calling on members to make every effort to attend.
This year you will also be electing either Saul Golden or Martin Hare on to RIBA Council as the representative from Northern Ireland. (Paul Crowe will also be on RIBA Council as RSUA President). The two candidates for the NI seat will also take part in the hustings to let you know what they stand for.
