The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is inviting proposals for a temporary installation for the Architecture Gallery at the RIBA Headquarters, 66 Portland Place which explore the theme of “Power”. The resulting commission will be the main exhibition for the 2020 summer season, coinciding with the London Festival of Architecture (LFA), and will be on view from 28 May through to September.
Travel expenses are being offered to architects outside the local area which will help make the competition attractive to practices in Northern Ireland.
The total budget installation production and material is £25,000 with a £4,000 design fee (excluding VAT). All work, including material and construction costs, as well as ongoing maintenance costs, must be feasible within this budget and the timeframe specified.
You can find out more information on this open call on the RIBA website and the closing date is 13 February 2020.
