The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has recently launched a public appointment campaign to appoint six Non-Executive Members to the Drainage Council NI. The Department is seeking to appoint people who have experience/knowledge in one of the following areas: Conservation, Tourism (including hospitality), Industry, Fisheries, Agriculture, and Drainage. The closing date is at noon on Friday 19 February 2021.
The appointments will be effective as soon as practical after the Minister for Infrastructure has made her selection of appointees and will run for a period of up to four years. Positions are unremunerated but expenses – including those associated with childcare – will be paid.
