NIBRAC are seeking to appoint a new committee chair

Northern Ireland Building Regulations Advisory Committee (NIBRAC) are seeking a new committee chair.

Building Regulations are central to government’s efforts to ensure that building work secures the health, safety and welfare of people in and around buildings and conserves fuel and power for generations to come. NIBRAC has an important role in advising on the amendment of Building Regulations and other associated matters.

The Department of Finance is seeking to appoint a Committee Chair. This is an opportunity for you to head the Committee reviewing measures being put forward by the Department. You will contribute to the detailed development of building regulation legislation and the supporting technical booklet guidance that is used daily by the construction industry.

This is a three year, non-remunerated appointment with a possibility of extension. Reasonable expenses incurred will be paid at Northern Ireland Civil Service rates.
