NEW DEADLINE: Travelling Scholarship for 3rd Years
The original deadline for applications to the Alan Barnes Travelling Scholarship was in December 2017 but we received feedback from students that it clashed with a particularly busy period in university. As a result we have set a new deadline of 13th February 2018 for applications to be received.
The scholarship is open to any student born in Northern Ireland who is currently in the final year of an undergraduate architecture course at a School of Architecture in Ireland or Britain.
The scholarship is a minimum of £500 but could be as much as £1,000 depending on the nature of the proposed trip.
The scholarship will be given to the student who would make the most of it.
It is easy to for students to apply. They simply register here.
After that, all they have to do is describe how they would use the scholarship in no more than 500 words by 5pm on 13th February 2018.
If they are shortlisted they’ll be invited to attend a short interview in person or online.
The scholarship will not only assist the winning student(s) with the costs of their trip but their review of the trip will be published in Perspective, the Journal of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.
