National Trust NI seeks Regional Advisory Group Chair
22/02/2022
National Trust NI exists to look after and share special places across Northern Ireland from historic houses, collections and the world-famous Giant’s Causeway to beautiful coastlines, countryside, and landscapes
To respond effectively to the context, opportunities, and challenges here, the National Trust is looking for a new Chair for it’s Northern Ireland Regional Advisory Group. As an influential volunteer, the chair will help us facilitate the Regional Advisory Group and enable this charity to be for everyone. The chair will help the organisation think differently and creatively about the opportunities offered and how National Trust can remove barriers and create connections.
The candidate should have an open mindset, regional awareness and knowledge and the desire to help make NI’s special places the best they can be. They will be connected into key stakeholder communities, and understand the social, economic, political, and environmental trends that have an impact in Northern Ireland.
The Northern Ireland Regional Advisory Group is made up of ten members and one observer (all of whom are volunteers). It advises, supports and challenges the Country Director and her team to help deliver the National Trust’s strategy in Northern Ireland.
