My Architecture with John Cole

Following the recent General Meeting on 4 October 2024, the next in the series of ‘My Architecture’ talks was delivered by John Cole, Past RSUA President and former Chief Executive of Health Estates.

John has a wealth of experience in strategic planning and improving the quality and effectiveness of procurement of capital projects. In 2013, he was awarded a CBE for his contribution to the development of health infrastructure and in 2016, was appointed to lead an independent inquiry into the construction of schools in Edinburgh. Following the Grenfell tragedy, John was invited to join the Industry Safety Steering Group which was established in 2018. John has also received European recognition for his contribution to the European Health Property Network of which he was appointed Chair from 2008-2012.
