In this role you will be responsible for overseeing a number of projects at varying RIBA stages. A selection of jobs are currently on site and will require you to step into the role of contract administrator. You will oversee the design process, ensuring the highest quality of architectural design and delivery within the ethos and strategic objectives of the practice. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, cost consultants and construction teams, providing leadership while maintaining a considered approach to design. This role requires a deep understanding of architecture, materials, and construction, along with strong leadership and project management skills. Previous experience of bespoke domestic projects and on-site job running is advantageous.
There will be a structured handover period with the Architect transitioning to maternity leave and ongoing support will be provided by the wider team.
Required skills and qualities;
Qualified Architect
A Master’s degree in Architecture
Experience of project delivery in the UK including RIBA Stages 4+
Excellent design ability and interest in high quality architecture
Good communication, presentation and drawing skills
Thorough knowledge of NI/UK Building Regulations
Excellent technical detailing experience
Experience of job running during construction stages
Strong administrative skills
Advanced knowledge of AutoCad
