07/02/24

The Inclusive Mobility and Transport Advisory Committee (IMTAC) has launched its 2024 recruitment looking for new members.

Imtac is a Committee of 18 people including Deaf people, disabled people, older people and others including carers and transport professionals. The committee’s role is to advise Government in Northern Ireland on issues that affect the mobility of Deaf people, disabled people and older people. Our work is sponsored by the Department for Infrastructure but we also work closely with other Departments, local councils and transport providers including Translink.

Members will be appointed for a period of three years starting in June 2024. Imtac is committed to making all reasonable adjustments to ensure that everyone can participate in the work of the Committee on an equal basis. Members are not paid but will receive reimbursement for any costs including travel.
