The ask an architect initiative closes at the end of September but it’s not too late to support the initiative which raises funds for Friends of the Cancer Centre in partnership with the Jill Todd Trust.
This year, the initiative has moved online with practices offering video consultations and socially distanced appointments in response to COVID-19. The growth in home-working has led many people to re-consider their domestic spaces either for extension or for remodelling as their needs have evolved.
Bookings have continued to grow throughout the initiative and, recognising the difficulties charities face, RSUA has donated income from events to further support the initiative while the Running Society of Underfit Architects fielded a team for the virtual 2020 Belfast City Marathon.
