Devil Wears Ashby Takes the Top Spot at Annual Table Quiz
The 6th annual Perfectly Proportioned Quiz of Architecture and Other Things took place at the Black Box in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter on Thursday 20 April. Nine teams battled through ten rounds of questions, which covered a diverse range of topics, including music, logos, women in architecture, sport, general knowledge and even a round featuring questions from University Challenge. In the end, a new champion was crowned, as ‘Devil Wears Ashby’ emerged victorious, ending ‘Acropolis Now’s’ reign of successive wins.

This year’s questions were crafted by the RSUA, with RSUA Director Ciarán Fox serving as the quizmaster for the night, and RSUA Events and Communications Officer Victoria McMurray handling the crucial role of scorekeeper.
As standard, there was also a practical challenge. One of the many spot prizes awarded on the night was for the winner of the ‘Project Runway Challenge’. Drawing from RSUA Member James Grieve’s recent venture into t-shirt designs as a source of creativity, every team was tasked with creating a t-shirt design that draws inspiration from architecture. The winner was chosen by the crowd through cheers of admiration, with Andrew Abraham from ‘The Flying Buttresses’ coming out on top!

The entry fees from ticket sales of £212 will be donated to the Simon Community.
