Celebrating NI’s recently qualified architects

25/02/2025

On Friday 21 February, the RSUA welcomed newly-qualified architects to the profession with the New Architects Party held in Belfast City Centre.

The party is a chance celebrate those who recently qualified as architects. Those who qualified in Northern Ireland are joined by those who passed their part 3 exams outside of the region but are now living and working here.

Guests enjoyed a tour of The Keep, situated on Castle Lane. The tour was facilitated by Arthur Parke and Ciaràn Vaudequin from LIKE Architects who shared the process of bringing the project to life.

Following the tour, guests enjoyed dinner and drinks nearby in Henry’s, designed by Belfast architects Dickson Fitzgerald.

The group also had a chance to celebrate and chat about their experiences. Special thanks to Alex Knowles from Consarc and RSUA’s Early Career Architects Forum (ECAF) as well as Alan Jones from Queen’s University Belfast for joining the group to give advice and feedback to the guests as they embark on their careers.

RSUA is especially grateful to Hays for continued their sponsorship of the New Architects Party.
