On Friday 6 February, the RSUA welcomed newly-qualified architects to the profession with the New Architects Party held in Belfast.
The party is a chance celebrate those who recently qualified as architects. Those who qualified in Northern Ireland are joined by those who passed their part 3 exams outside of the region but are now living and working here.

The event kicked off with a tour of Radius Housing’s social housing development on Cromac Street by TODD Architects. The tour was facilitated by lead project architect, Aaron Crozier, who shared the process of bringing the project to life.

Following the tour, guests enjoyed dinner and drinks nearby in The Watson, the fit out for which was carried out by Belfast-based Interior Design and Architecture practice Oscar & Oscar.
The group also had a chance to celebrate and chat about their experiences. Special thanks to Alan Jones from Queen’s University Belfast for joining the group to give advice and feedback to the guests as they embark on their careers.
RSUA is grateful to Hays for their continued sponsorship of the New Architects Party.
