Call for views on consultants’ £2billion framework

12 June 2024

The Crown Commercial Service has published a ‘pipeline notice’ inviting suggestions and feedback on the design of its forthcoming agreement for the provision of construction professional services. This will be a pan-government collaborative agreement.

The framework is set to run for four years, from the beginning of October 2025 to the end of September 2029 and will be worth £500m a year. It is to be used by central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health trusts, police, fire & rescue, education authorities and devolved administrations. The lotting structure will be decided after market engagement.

Ciarán Fox, director of RSUA, said: ‘As this is a UK-wide framework, it is important that we ensure Northern Ireland’s needs are considered.’

There is an opportunity to offer suggestions and feedback on the design, including its lots and structure, via the supplier questionnaire.

CCS will be holding the first round of its supplier engagement via a series of webinars from 15 July 2024. Anyone interested should email cps@crowncommercial.gov.uk with the following information:

  • organisation name
  • contact name
  • job title of contact (including responsibility within your organisation)
  • contact phone number
  • contact email
  • organisation website link
