Cabinet Office releases “Transforming Public Procurement” Green Paper

17/02/2021

The Cabinet Office has published a Green Paper called “Transforming Public Procurement” which is the UK Government’s proposed changes to public procurement made possible by the UK’s exit from the European Union.

The Green Paper lists a number of areas where the Government believes that reforms to the procurement approach would be beneficial, including proposing a simpler regulatory framework, allowing tribunals to handle lower value claims, and improving contract management.

RSUA will respond on behalf of the profession in Northern Ireland – if you have any comments on the proposals please send to ciaran@rsua.org.uk.
