BOOKING OPEN: RSUA Workshops on NEC 3 and 4

BOOKING OPEN: RSUA Workshops on NEC 3 and 4

With most publicly funded projects in Northern Ireland using the NEC suite of contracts it is an area of expertise that can prove very useful for most construction professionals and is essential for some.

The two key areas of knowledge are:

(i) Client to Consultant: Understanding the contractual relationship between the client and your business (or with the consultant team) which falls under the Professional Services Contract, and;

(ii) Client to Contractor: Understanding the relationship between the client and the building contractor which falls under the Engineering and Construction Contract.

You may be relatively new to these contracts, you may wish to hone your considerable expertise or you may just want to refresh your knowledge and be prepared for the changes coming with NEC4.

To cater for this range of needs RSUA has scheduled four one-day NEC workshops with Dr Jon Broome, one of the UK’s leading NEC tutors. All of Jon’s previous RSUA workshops have been rated as ‘excellent’ by members.

In September the focus is on the Construction Contracts with:

25th October: INTRO to NEC 3 and 4 Engineering and Construction Contracts

26th October: MASTERCLASS in NEC 3 and 4 Engineering and Construction Contracts

The focus moves to the Professional Services Contracts in October with:

29th November : INTRO to NEC 3 and 4 Professional Services Contracts

30th November: MASTERCLASS in NEC 3 and 4 Professional Services Contracts
