Belfast City Council invites feedback on proposed Corporate Plan

Belfast City Council has launched a public consultation on its draft Corporate Plan for 2025–2028. This plan will serve as the Council’s guiding document for the development of policies and programmes for the city.

In line with the strategic priorities outlined in the Belfast Agenda, included specifically are commitments by the Council to:

  • Implement its Local Development Plan
  • Address housing challenges
  • Conduct Strategic Site Assessments
  • Promote active and sustainable travel
  • Regenerate Belfast City Centre
  • Develop the Belfast Stories visitor experience
  • Reduce energy consumption (and bills) in housing, as well as public and commercial buildings
  • Decarbonise the heat supply to buildings within the city

The deadline for responses to the consultation is Tuesday, 18 March 2025.
