Arigho Larmour Wheeler Architects nominated for Europe-wide architecture award

Congratulations to RSUA members Jane Larmour and Patrick Wheeler who, along with Mark Arigho, have been nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture / Mies van der Rohe Awards 2026.

Their project, Living in a Landscape, was put forward by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland for this prestigious award. You can read the Architects’ Account of Living in a Landscape, published in last month’s issue of Perspective here.

The award, organised by Fundació Mies van der Rohe and promoted by Creative Europe, celebrates architectural excellence that enriches our environments and communities. It recognises works that integrate the natural, built, and human environments.

Congratulations to the team at Arigho Larmour Wheeler Architects!

The full list of nominees will be publishedthis month on the EUMies Awards website. The shortlist will be announced in January 2026 and the Awards ceremony will take place in May 2026.
