Architects open doors to heritage at EHOD Festival

RSUA is once again participating in the European Heritage Open Days (EHOD). This festival is an annual event celebrating local architecture, history and culture, which takes place across Europe. This year, the European Heritage Open Days are on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September.

This year’s theme, “Architectural Heritage: Past Structures, Future Connections,” will explore how historic buildings, structures, and landscapes shape our communities and preserve the past while inspiring the future.

RSUA has organised a number of tours led by architects as part of the full programme of talks, tours and walks.

11am-12pm, Saturday 13 September

Architect-led tour of Bushmills Courthouse
11am-1pm, Saturday 13 September

Architect-led tour of Queen’s Arcade, Belfast
10-11am, Saturday 13 September

Architect-led tour of Queen’s Conservation Area
2pm-4pm, Sunday 14 September

Architect-led tour of Templemore Baths
3pm-5pm, Sunday 14 September
