In September 2024, ARB launched an initial consultation on a new Code of Conduct and Practice for Architects.
RSUA submitted a response to this consultation before the deadline in December. Our full response can be viewed here.
The proposed Code is based on six Standards. The Standards are intended to be supported by guidance, and a list of twelve proposed guidance documents was published as part of the consultation process.
New Consultation on the Code’s Draft Guidance
Last month, ARB moved into the next phase of consultation and is now seeking feedback on three of these guidance documents.
These documents are:
Subject to the outcome of the current consultation, these documents will be finalised and published alongside the new Code later this year.
The remaining guidance documents will also be published for consultation later this year, in two additional phases. The next phase (part two) will be published in the summer.
