Alan Barnes Travel Scholarship Award for 3rd Year Undergraduates
Do you know an undergraduate architecture student in their final year that wants to explore the world? To see and experience its architecture on a journey of discovery, enlightenment and adventure?
If so, the Alan Barnes Travel Scholarship Award might be for them.
The scholarship is open to any student educated through the post-primary education system in Northern Ireland, who studies at a recognised School of Architecture in Britain or Ireland, and who is at present entering into their third year.
The scholarship is a minimum of £500 but could be as much as £1,000 depending on the nature of the proposed trip and will be given to the student who would make the most of it.
It is easy to for students to apply. They simply register by clicking this link: Alan Barnes Travel Scholarship Award 2021.
After that, all they have to do is describe how they would use the scholarship in no more than 500 words and submit this along with a CV to Jude@rsua.org.uk by 23:59 on Monday 22 February 2021.
If they are shortlisted, they will be invited to attend a short online interview.
The scholarship will not only assist the winning student(s) with the costs of their trip, but their review of the trip will be published in Perspective, the Journal of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.
