Alan Barnes Travel Scholarship Award for 3rd Year Undergraduates

Do you know an undergraduate architecture student in their final year that wants to explore the world? To see and experience its architecture on a journey of discovery, enlightenment and adventure?

If so, the Alan Barnes Travel Scholarship Award might be for them.

The scholarship is open to any student born in Northern Ireland who is currently in the final year of an undergraduate architecture course at a School of Architecture in Ireland or Britain.

The scholarship is a minimum of £500 but could be as much as £1,000 depending on the nature of the proposed trip.

The scholarship will be given to the student who would make the most of it.

After that, all they have to do is describe how they would use the scholarship in no more than 500 words by 28 February 2020.

If they are shortlisted they’ll be invited to attend a short interview in person or online.

The scholarship will not only assist the winning student(s) with the costs of their trip, but their review of the trip will be published in Perspective, the Journal of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.
