RSUA Study Trip – Copenhagen – 25th to 28th May 2017
RSUA is organising a Study Trip to Copenhagen in late spring 2017. Along with other Danish cities, Copenhagen is praised around the world for its visionary way of combining liveability, growth and sustainability.
The trip is being curated by Paul Crowe (RSUA President), Alison Elliott and Ciarán Fox (RSUA Director). Our aim is simple. We want to create a trip which is energising, thought provoking, inspiring and friendship building; a trip which has the potential to, just maybe, change how we think and act when we return from it.
Beyond the RSUA membership we intend to invite some other people who play a key role in shaping the built environment in Northern Ireland – clients, policy makers and other professionals.
The itinerary for the trip will provide opportunities to engage with both the people and the place. There will be tours of the buildings, the urban spaces and meetings with some of the people responsible for their design.
Connections
If you have any connections in Copenhagen who may be able to help with the trip in any way please contact Ciarán Fox (ciaran@rsua.org.uk or 028 9032 3760).
Sponsorship
RSUA will be seeking sponsorship for this trip. If your practice, an associated business or a supplier you know is interested in sponsoring please contact Ciarán Fox (details above).
There are a range of sponsorship opportunities but we are particularly interested in exploring the potential of getting sponsors to cover or subsidise the cost of a number of places on the trip for students or recently qualified architects.
At this stage we are delighted to announce that Tarkett and Erco will be supportin the study trip.
If you have any queries regarding the trip, please contact Julia Leaker, julia@leaker.co.uk or 028 90323 760.
