RSUA responds to consultation on Regulation of Architects

17/11/2021

A group of RSUA members compiled a response to the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) consultation on the regulation of architects. Key asks related to protection of function for architects, the future of the profession and the value of an architect in ensuring the wellbeing of those working in the built environment and the general public.

Following on from this, RSUA members were encouraged to respond to the consultation individually using tailored excerpts from this response.

This is the first step in a longer process; as part of this process, a series of workshops based on the topics discussed in the call for evidence will be organised – details still to be released.
