QUB Architecture Students will receive results

As previously reported on 23/6/23, due to the national University and College Union’s (UCU) Marketing and Assessment Boycott (MAB) affecting architecture students who were due to graduate Queen’s University (QUB) this summer, RSUA committed to the following actions:

1. Issue guidance to RSUA members on how they can help
2. Write to the Vice Chancellor of QUB to call for a speedy resolution of the problem
3. Issue a press release to the media in support of the students
4. Ensure that QUB students do not miss out on the opportunity to win the RSUA Bronze or Silver Medals

RSUA completed all actions listed above and were pleased to welcome the announcement on 28 June 2023 that QUB had reached a local agreement to end the Marking and Assessment Boycott. QUB has stated that “Marking will be completed by 7 August to allow exam boards to finalise all results by the end of the summer” to read the statement in full click here
