New series of events for early career architects kicks off

03/09/2021

The first event in the new ‘What I’m Working on’ series of lunchtime talks for early career architects has taken place.

The four speakers at the inaugural event were James Grieve from Consarc Conservation, Ashley Turner from Alastair Coey Architects, Jonathan Maguire from Aula Architects and Jennifer Harper from Isherwood and Ellis.

They shared information with other early career architects about the projects currently on their desks, and talked about the different skills they require and issues they face.

The hope is that the open discussion at these informal sessions will enable shared learning and open up channels of communication among architects as they navigate the first ten years of their careers.

More information about the Early Career Architects forum can be found here, and information about future ‘What I’m Working on’ lunchtime talks will be shared as details are finalised.
