White Ink Architects

Project Architect

White Ink Architects is an employee-owned practice, and we’re continuing to grow. We’re looking for Architects to join our Belfast studio and work on ambitious residential, hotel, masterplanning and interiors projects across the UK and Ireland.

Our work is design-led, technically robust, and delivered by teams who care about quality, clarity and collaboration.

WHY WHITE INK?
You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and supported by experienced Associates and Directors. We invest in our people, encourage progression, and value good judgement over unnecessary pressure.

As an Employee-Owned Trust, the practice is run for the long-term benefit of the team. Success is shared, voices are heard, and development is taken seriously.

We welcome applications from architects based locally, as well as those currently working in the UK or overseas who are considering relocating or returning to Belfast. Informal, confidential conversations are always welcome.

Our approach has been recognised with:
• Irish News Award – Best Education, Trainee or Apprentice Programme
• Finalist – Best Architect Employer of the Year, Building Design Awards

THE ROLE
You’ll work as part of a collaborative project team delivering medium to large-scale projects from design through to construction.

The role includes:
• Design development and technical coordination through later RIBA stages
• Day-to-day involvement in live projects under the direction of an Associate or Director
• Coordinating consultants and contributing to technical decision-making
• Preparing and reviewing drawings and information packages
• Working within UK and Irish building regulations
• Using Revit within a BIM-led workflow
• Contributing ideas and helping improve how we work as a practice

ABOUT YOU
• A qualified Architect
• Experience working on complex, real-world medium to large-scale projects
• Comfortable taking responsibility and managing aspects of project delivery
• Strong design awareness with solid technical understanding
• Collaborative, organised and clear in your communication
• Keen to continue developing your career within a growing practice

WHAT WE OFFER
• Competitive salary
• Discretionary EOT profit share
• Hybrid working
• Enhanced maternity, paternity and sick pay
• Life insurance and income protection
• Cycle to Work scheme
