Heritage Recovery Fund launched in Northern Ireland

The Heritage Recovery Fund, administered by the National Lottery Heritage Fund on behalf of the Department for Communities, is part of the £29million which the Department announced to support the culture, language, arts and heritage sectors impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The purpose of the £5.5million Heritage Recovery Fund is to help the sector become more resilient and recover from the pandemic. Applications can be made by non-profit or private heritage organisations from £3,000 to £250,000 and by individuals working in the heritage sector from £3,000 to £5,000. Funds must be spent by 31 March 2021 and applications close at noon on 27 November.
