Your one-on-one practice focused social media masterclass

4 slots available on Thursday 25th March 2021

Promoting your practice online is increasingly crucial to your success, both your clients and competitors are already are using social media to find architects and win new business.  Perhaps you’re a sole trader already “online” and keen to make some improvements, or maybe your practice has an individual dedicated to making sure pages are bright, expressive reflections of your talents.

Either way, this two-hour masterclass, hosted by Alan Meban is your chance to step back and assess the health of your practice’s social media channels, the content you generate, and how people engage with it.

In advance?

When you register you’ll need to supply a short list of peer organisations (local or further afield) that you tend to benchmark yourself against to make good comparisons.  You’re also welcome to suggest a couple of areas that you already know you want to talk about when we meet: social media policy and strategy; social channels to use/avoid; creating engaging content; how to boost and target advertising; making your organisation’s content distinctive and stand out from the crowd.

On the day

Bring along a laptop with access to your organisation’s Facebook Page (if you have one) so we can delve into the rich information privately gathered by Facebook Insight.

The format

  • Discuss the current strategy that underpins your organisation’s use of social media, where you feel it is working, and where you already know there is room for improvement.
  • Look under the bonnet using quantitative evidence from your social media feed that Alan will prepare in advance to show your current usage (frequency, time of day, type of content, rate of engagement, etc) as well as qualitative examples of best practice and where there is room for improvement.
  • Based on what we find, consider what practical steps your organisation can take to sustain and even improve what is already good, and how to address areas of weakness that have been identified.
