Thermal Upgrade of Traditional Buildings
Location: Online
Date: 25 February 2022
Duration: 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm
Presented by Department for Communities, Historic Environment Division and the Listed Building Owners Forum
The Department for Communities (DfC), Historic Environment Division is hosting a series of lunchtime talks focussing on how owners and custodians interact with and sustain their heritage buildings. The talks are aimed at those who live in, use and take care of listed buildings either directly or indirectly; but everyone with an interest is welcome.
These talks are an opportunity to learn about some important issues which matter both to owners and the wider community, so that everyone can keep enjoying these special buildings into the future.
The ‘greenest’ building is an existing building and this session will help homeowners understand how they can make their historic building more energy efficient. It will feature an invited expert from Historic Environment Scotland to talk about ways this can be done sensitively and effectively.
