RIAI Women in Architecture Networking Evening

The RIAI Women in Architecture 2020 is a celebration of Irish women architects working around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all our lives, confining us to home and forcing us to re-think our personal and work lives. IT communication systems have enabled us to stay in contact and also to reactivate contact with friends and colleagues. The event this year reflects this change to our lives. On Thursday 9 July at 6pm the RIAI Women in Architecture event will take place via Zoom, with Carole Pollard hosting a panel discussion with six Irish women architects working in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, USA and UK.

The six panellists are: Sheila Carney, Director of Scott Tallon Walker, based in London; Ann Doyle in private practice in New York; Niamh Iremonger who practices in London; Aisling Kehoe MRIAI (former RIAI Council member), Wellington, New Zealand; Sarah McGann, Dean, School of Arts and Sciences, Fremantle, Australia; Jennifer O’Donnell, plattenbaustudio in Berlin.
