Join us on Wednesday 24th of March at 6.00 pm for the next instalment of our 2020-21 series! We are delighted to announce we will be joined by Yẹmí Aládérun and Hani Salih who will speak on the wider topics of racism and amplifying minority voices in architecture.
Yẹmí is an architect and Major Projects Manager working for a Housing Association in North London. She served as an elected national council member for the Royal Institute of British Architects and sits on its Education Committee. Yẹmí is a NED for Women’s Pioneer Housing association, co-founder of Paradigm Network, and core member of Part W. She is an advocate for education, income & housing equality and is extremely passionate about social mobility and broadening access to the built environment.
Hani Salih is the Co-founder and Director of Migrant’s Bureau, a multi-disciplinary social design & urbanism practice facilitating sustainable design interventions, research, podcasts, and community workshops for both trans-local and global disenfranchised & migrant communities. Currently completing his post-graduate studies in Urbanisation and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Hani’s interests sit at the intersection of architecture, policy, economics, international development, and urbanism.
