Location: Online Via Teams
Date: 28 June 2022
Duration: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
2022 Proposed RIBA Curriculum Topic: Sustainable architecture
From 30th June 2022, new dwellings in Northern Ireland going through the building control process will need to be 40% more energy efficient. You can view the technical guidance, a pre-recorded explanatory briefing and FAQ’s for Nearly-Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) at the Department of Finance’s website.
To help members comply with the new guidance RSUA has organised this short on-line seminar which will explore a range of practical ways to achieve the required energy performance in dwellings.
This seminar will cover:
- Insulation
- Airtightness
- Thermal bridges
- Renewables
- NZEB v Net Zero Carbon
- Future standards
RSUA will be organising further NZEB training including a session focused on ‘buildings other than dwellings’ which are covered under technical booklet F2.
