Natural light and fresh air speed up learning – this is the finding of new research led by Professor Peter Barrett. As a result, architects affect children’s development more than is often appreciated.
You are invited to gain insights into this area from expert speakers at a breakfast seminar hosted by Velux Modular Skylights in association with the RSUA.

- Peter Barrett: “Clever Classrooms: Sensory Impacts Matter”. (Based on the findings of his HEAD (Holistic Evidence and Design) Project. Peter Barrett is a past President of the UN-established International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB). He is Emeritus Professor of Management in Property and Construction at Salford University in the UKand Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Education at Oxford University.
