cPHS Card Health and Safety Training Course
Location: Riddel Hall, Stranmillis Road, Belfast
Date: 18 May 2018
The RSUA has established a one day health and safety training course appropriate for construction professionals which meets the requirements of the Buildsafe NI Initiative 2011.
The objective of the course is to equip designers with an understanding of construction health and safety. When this understanding has been demonstrated through assessment, course participants receive a Construction Professionals Health & Safety Card (cPHS) card as evidence of having successfully completed the course.
The cPHS card is seen as more appropriate for construction professionals and it complements other card schemes such as the CSR card for site operatives.
The course participant’s professional institute’s registration number is to be displayed on the card and the cPHS card is to be used in conjunction with the professional institute card. Only members of a professional body can apply for a cPHS card.
The programme for this one day training course and the cPHS card is supported by:
- Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland
- DFP Central Procurement Directorate
- Construction Industry Group Professional College
- A broad range of Northern Irish contractors
