Wellbeing webinar
Location: Online, via Zoom
Date: 20 May 2020
11:00am-12:30pm on Wednesday 20 May or 2:00pm-3:30pm on Tuesday 26 May
ABS in partnership with RIBA and RSUA has arranged two free 90 minute wellbeing webinars for architects. Self-isolation, working from home, managing work/life balance and financial concerns are all factors that can have an effect on our mental wellbeing. At a time when the profession is responding to the context of the current COVID-19 outbreak, the mental health and wellbeing of architects is paramount.
These sessions are facilitated and peer-led, bringing together members in a safe space, and provide an opportunity to share experiences, thoughts and worries and address ways to look after your mental health and wellbeing. They will also provide information, tips and tools to support you during such times. Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
A message from RSUA President Joan McCoy
“Many Architectural Practices and Architects are experiencing tremendous financial and emotional stress during the current Covid crisis. The Architects Benevolent Society continues to support those working in the architectural profession and has launched a campaign to raise funds to meet the high demands during the current uncertainty. Any donation, no matter how small, will assist the ABS to support members of our profession who are struggling during these difficult times.” You can donate to ABS emergency appeal here.
