2022 Peter Rice Lecture by Eva Prats

You are invited to attend the annual Peter Rice Lecture, organised by QUB and ARUP. This year’s lecture is entitled ‘The Right to Inherit’ and will be given by the internationally renowned architect Eva Prats who, together with Ricardo Flores founded Flores & Prats Arquitectes, a studio based in Barcelona, Spain.

Flores & Prats combine design and constructive practice with intense academic activity. After their experience at Enric Miralles’ studio, Ricardo Flores and Eva Prats developed a career where research is always linked to the responsibility to make and build, giving importance to the possibilities of public interpretations and critical views that the built work reveals as part of this research process. Their projects, most of which are the result of open competitions, have investigated in fields such as rehabilitation, social housing, or urban public spaces and neighbourhood participation.
