Climate change risk assessed in Northern Ireland

The Climate Change Committee has published the Climate Change Risk Assessment Summary for Northern Ireland.
The summary provides details on the 61 risks and opportunities that will have an impact on NI, including to business, infrastructure, housing, the natural environment, our health and from the impacts of climate change internationally.
31 of these risks and opportunities in Northern Ireland are categorised as requiring more action, particularly in terms of risks to habitats from extreme and changing climate conditions, and risks to infrastructure networks, buildings and business sites from groundwater flooding.
