Architects support Climate Action Day

This Friday, 20 September 2019 is Climate Action Day. People all across the world will be striking for climate change. If you would like to find out more about the Belfast strike or to find your local strike click here.
Role for RSUA members in Climate Action Day
RSUA is encouraging all members to take a positive action on Friday and to share their action on social media using #ClimateActionNI.
Here are some examples of what you can do:
- Tell us what actions you think should be taken in relation to our built environment regarding climate change. These could be actions for anyone, for example government, local councils, architects etc. Tell us here.
- Calculate your environmental footprint for yourself Individual footprint or for your business Collective SME footprint
- Take action as an individual and as an architect. Here are some ideas:
- Consider the sustainability of a product you are specifying
- Don’t eat meat this Friday
- Travel more sustainably this Friday (walk, cycle, public transport)
- Attend a local strike/demonstration
